Dr. Boddapati Ramprasad
Dr. Boddapati Ramprasad Garu with his first class in M.Sc (Specialization Electronics) has workedin (ECIL), for over 25 years.
In course of his tenure at ECIL, he had undergone one month course on Hybrid simulation at IISC, Bangalore; one month Training on Cyber Computer System at National InformaticCenter (NIC) New Delhi; as also Executive Development Program, Marketing Management, Creativity and Communication Skills at Administrative Staff College of India (ASCI); He has also undertaken Software Consultancy and Development work in Design and Development of Model StatementLanguage (MSL)Compiler for BhabaAtomicResearch Center(BARC)in its NuclearPower Project Simulator (NPPS) Project; Design of General Purpose Simulation System (GPSS)Compiler(in a Higher Level Language Generating Portable Code for PDP-11 Computer system); he was also the Project Coordinator for DigitalSwitching Project funded by the prestigiousTechnology Development Board (TDB), New Delhi.
Dr. RamprasadGaru has keen interest in the areas of Theory of Modern Operating Systems, Software Engineering, Software Project Management, Simulation, Theory of Programming Languages, Advanced Computer Architecture, Computer System Design, Intellectual Property Rights, Business Environment and Business Law Regulation. He has over 12 years full-timeteaching experience in the Computer Training Unit (CTU) at ECIL. He also worked as a key faculty member for M.Phil course in Computer Methods conducted at ECIL premises for theHyderabad Center University (HCU) for a decade since the inception of the course in 1975 andup to 1984.
He had been a visiting faculty for Computer science Programs at National Training Centers, like Power Systems Training Institute (PSTI) Bangalore, National Police Academy (NPA) Hyderabad Garden Reach Shipbuilders &Engineers Ltd(GRSE) besides postgraduate M.Tech Computer science Programmes at JawaharlalNehru Technology University Hyderabad, BITS Hyderabad, IETEand KakatiyaUniversity. He had also been instrumental in guiding dissertation work for 10 M.PhilComputer science students spread over 10 years.
He has published a paper a portable processer for General Purpose Simulation System (GPSS) in the Computer Society of India (CSI) proceeding 1981.
In the year 2001, he was awarded Doctor of Science degree in Computer Engineering byAshwood University.
He is an avid reader and an outstanding, versatile and prolific teacher producing consistent astonishing excellentresults in diverse Computer Science as also Management subjects over the past fifteen years in the JNTU (H) affiliated engineering colleges both at the Post Graduate and Under Graduate levels.
He has been working as Senior Professor since 2008 at KCEA, Chepur, Armoor, NZB. Dist.
